Dancing in the Evening Light was inspired by my travel encounters in Bangkok, Thailand. The color combinations were influenced by Bangkok's bright pink and green taxi's and three wheeled tuk tuks, flashy street signs and their golden temples. The subject of the painting surrounds a dancer during the evening time demonstrating movement and grace.
The painting style of Dancing in the Evening Light was created with big bold brushstrokes, as well as the emergence of "dots."
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas, sealed with two coats of acrylic matte varnish.
Dimensions: 39in (length) x 36.6in (width)
Painting will be removed from it's wooden stretcher bars and rolled up in a tube for shipment.
This painting has been photographed to show its colors as similar to reality as possible, however different screens may show colors slightly different depending on the device you are viewing it from.
For every original painting sale through my website, I will be donating 5% of funds to the International OCD Foundation.
This money will go towards bringing awareness, education, and accessible and effective treatment for individuals suffering from OCD. Treatments can be expensive like it was for me, so I want to reach out a hand!
